It\u00e2\u20ac\u2122s no surprise, then, that I was delighted with <em>More Coffee, Mr. Darcy.<\/em> It\u00e2\u20ac\u2122s a tiny little story that can be read in about as much time as it takes an average person to drink a cuppa. (Unless, of course, you are Mr. Darcy and Elizabeth Bennet is pouring the coffee.)<\/p>\n<p>Oh, sure, there are some imperfections, including a Darcy who is rather more bold than usual. It&#8217;s easy to overlook, though, since SandyW tells a charming, fluffy story that takes place during the infamous \u00e2\u20ac\u0153coffee scene\u00e2\u20ac\u009d at Longbourn. What if Elizabeth had been a bit more courageous and Darcy a tad more thirsty?<\/p>\n<p>Regency, Canon Departure, General at <a href=\"http:\/\/www.dwiggie.com\/derby\/old_2007\/sandyw4.htm\">DWG<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/andbirds.org\/sc\/wp-content\/uploads\/2011\/01\/30quill4.gif\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignleft size-full wp-image-18\" title=\"4 Quills\" src=\"https:\/\/andbirds.org\/sc\/wp-content\/uploads\/2011\/01\/30quill4.gif\" alt=\"4 Quills\" width=\"70\" height=\"30\" \/><\/a><\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Some of my favorite things in the world and, not coincidentally, in fiction, are sneakiness and banter.
