Really, who cares? She&#8217;s old! She&#8217;s annoying! She has an ugly house and a plain daughter she can&#8217;t marry off! Actually, that last is a bit sad really. Anyway, she&#8217;s not considered to be of much interest. Which is why <em>A Dreadful Bitterness of Spirit<\/em> is such a surprise.\u00c2\u00a0 In only a few hundred words, Danse Macabre manages to eludicate not only Lady Catherine&#8217;s character, but also the characters of those around her through her eyes. It&#8217;s a humourous and almost gentle look at the grande dame of Rosings Park four months after the pollution of the shades of Pemberley.<\/p>\n<p>There are a few spelling errors\/typos, but they&#8217;re hardly worth mentioning.
