More Coffee, Mr. Darcy?

Some of my favorite things in the world and, not coincidentally, in fiction, are sneakiness and banter. It’s no surprise, then, that I was delighted with More Coffee, Mr. Darcy. It’s a tiny little story that can be read in about as much time as it takes an average person to drink a cuppa. (Unless, of course, you are Mr. Darcy and Elizabeth Bennet is pouring the coffee.)

Oh, sure, there are some imperfections, including a Darcy who is rather more bold than usual. It’s easy to overlook, though, since SandyW tells a charming, fluffy story that takes place during the infamous “coffee scene” at Longbourn. What if Elizabeth had been a bit more courageous and Darcy a tad more thirsty?
