kink_bingo, for the “uniforms/military fetish” kink, A Most Determined Flirt is hot like burning. As clever readers may have already guessed, this is a Lydia/Wickham story. Lydia is, indeed, most determined, and gets just what she asks (practically begs) for.
This is a hot, kinky character sketch in a little over 1000 words. Lydia is manipulative and a bit of a masochist, Wickham is licentious and more than a bit of a sadist, and together they drive off into the sunset of their own sort of happy ending.

I quite enjoyed this. Ahem.
I cannot say that I see any happy ending in the characters’ future, but it is agreeable to think Lydia, in her utterly self-absorbed silliness, may still have a stab at it. (I am rather surprised at the assumption that because she had great sex for a while, she had a happy ending. I did not read that into the story — it ended for me in a rather dismal, creepy note, with Lydia still oblivious. But it is pleasant to take your interpretation instead, specially since the authoress appears to subscribe to it, too*.)
* ‘the author is dead’, you say? Whatever can you mean? I do not hold by any such newfangled notion.
Indeed, my Lord, I did not intend to imply that there would actually be a happy ending for Mr and Mrs Wickham. My comment was meant more as a wry commentary on the author’s final line. I am of your opinion that, as Auden put it, “nothing now can ever come to any good”.
